Corporate rides

OCBC Cycle is the perfect cycling event for you and your colleagues to bond at. Who knows, you may even adopt cycling as a company hobby.

 

There are only 700 The Sportive Ride and 300 The Straits Times Ride places available across the corporate ride categories. Reservation of places closes on 31 May 2015.

 

There is no discount for using an OCBC Card.

Do your part for charity

By signing up for The Business Times Cycle of Hope Corporate Bike Ride, your company is doing its part for charity. The chosen charities of OCBC Cycle receives more than half of the registration fees as a donation. The chosen charities are:

  • Singapore Children’s Society
  • SportCares
  • The Business Times Budding Artists Fund
  • TRUEfund

Notes:

  • Participants:
    • can choose to participate in either The Straits Times Ride (about 23km) or The Sportive Ride (about 42km)

  • Companies that take part in The Business Times Cycle of Hope Corporate Bike Ride will also be eligible for the Largest Donor Award.
  • Companies can choose which of the 4 charities they want to support simply by indicating their choices on the back of their cheque. If no preference is indicated, the donation will be distributed equally among the 4 chosen charities.
  • Donations are tax-deductible. Receipts will be issued to companies from the respective charities, based on the amount donated.

Volunteer for Charity

What better way is there to put a smile on a child’s face, than by teaching him how to cycle?

 

Join us as volunteers to teach children from Singapore Children’s Society, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities and Yu Neng Primary School how to cycle and then accompany them on a cycling trip.

 

Open to OCBC Cycle 2015 participants only. Registration opens on 10 March 2015.

Teach a child to cycle

We are looking for experienced cyclists to teach about 20 underprivileged children (aged 10 to 12) to cycle before embarking on a cycling trip. Competent cyclists will also be participating in the OCBC Mighty Savers Ride.

Join a Cycling Trip

We are looking for supportive volunteers to accompany children on a cycling trip and then a picnic. The children would have undergone at least 2 sessions of training.

 

Date: 2 May 2015

Time: 9am to 11am

Starting Point: OCBC Square at Singapore Sports Hub

 

Cyclists will cross the Tanjong Rhu Bridge and ride along the park connector towards Costa Rhu. The route of this trip will be shared closer to the day.
