Corporate rides

OCBC Cycle is the perfect cycling event for you and your colleagues to bond at. Who knows, you may even adopt cycling as a company hobby.

 

There are only 1050 The Sportive Ride and 450 The Straits Times Ride places available across the corporate ride categories. Reservation of places closes on 2 August 2016.

Do your part for charity

By signing up for The Business Times Cycle of Hope Corporate Bike Ride, your company is doing its part for charity. The chosen charities of OCBC Cycle receives more than half of the registration fees as a donation. The chosen charities are:

  • SportCares Foundation
  • The Business Times: Budding Artists Fund
  • NUHS Fund Limited
  • Dyslexia Association of Singapore

Notes:

  • Participants:
    • can choose to participate in either The Straits Times Ride (23km) or The Sportive Ride (42km)
    • will receive event apparel
  • Companies that take part in either The Business Times Cycle of Hope Corporate Bike Ride or The Corporate Bike Ride will vie for the Longest Distance Award.
  • Companies that take part in The Business Times Cycle of Hope Corporate Bike Ride will also be eligible for the Largest Donor Award.
  • Companies can choose which of the 4 charities they want to support simply by indicating their choices on the back of their cheque. If no preference is indicated, the donation will be distributed equally among the 4 chosen charities.
  • Donations are tax-deductible. Receipts will be issued to companies from the respective charities, based on the amount donated.

If you are simply looking for a fun-filled day out with your colleagues, then The Corporate Bike Ride is just the right category for your company. Come decked in your company colours to foster a sense of identity.

Notes:

  • Each company must sign up a minimum number of 15 pax.
  • The per-individual registration fee for The Corporate Bike Ride is lower because no event apparel is given. Companies may prefer to have their staff don company-branded apparels.
  • Companies that take part in either The Business Times Cycle of Hope Corporate Bike Ride or The Corporate Bike Ride will vie for the Longest Distance Award.

After you have successfully reserved the places for your colleagues, inform them to register online on 18 April 2016.

And receive an email confirmation

Finally, they will collect the event pack with the confirmation email

By Public Transport

  • MRT
    – VIA THE CIRCLE LINE:
  1. Stadium MRT Station (CC6) is the nearest station which exits directly into the Singapore Sports Hub
  2. Mountbatten MRT Station (CC7) is approximately 600m walking distance from Singapore Sports Hub. This also serves as an alternative station via Circle Line for leaving the venue.

 

  • BUS
    – VIA BUS SERVICE 11
  1. Alight along Stadium Crescent (Bus Stop No. 80199), which is directly outside Singapore Indoor Stadium.

By Car

  • Nearest parking
    – Kallang Leisure Park & Kallang theatres Carpark (Limited parking space)

    1. VIA STADIUM BOULEVARD Participants coming from Old Airport road & Mountbatten road, use Stadium Boulevard

Bike Storage

You can store your bicycle at the bike park before your ride at no charge.

You can check in your bicycle from 10am onwards and check out at 9pm latest.

 

1 October 2016
You can check in your bicycle from 8am onwards and check out at 9pm latest.

Overnight storage is allowed on both days.

 

2 October 2016
You can check in your bicycle from 3.30am onwards and check out at 12noon latest.

 

While there will be security personnel at the bike park, you are encouraged to secure your bicycle with your own lock. Storage of your bicycle is at your own risk and the Event Organiser and Event Owner will not be liable for any loss/ damage to your bicycle.

Want to do more than just riding at OCBC Cycle in October?

 

Well, good news for you: We have lined up a slew of activities leading up to the event to fuel your passion for cycling. For a nominal sign-up fee of S$6 per activity, you will not only be having a good time but will also be helping our chosen charities – SportCares, The Business Times Budding Artists Fund, NUHS Fund Limited and Dyslexia Association of Singapore – as the fee will be donated to them.
