Longest Distance Award

Companies that take part in either The Business Times Cycle of Hope Corporate Bike Ride or The Corporate Bike Ride will vie for the Longest Distance Award.

Bring your own company apparel!

The per-individual registration fee for The Corporate Bike Ride is lower because no event apparel is given. Companies may prefer to have their staff don company-branded apparels.

More than half of your registration fees will go to charity. Event apparel will be provided.

Largest Donor Award

Longest Distance Award

Companies that take part in either The Business Times Cycle of Hope Corporate Bike Ride or The Corporate Bike Ride will vie for the Longest Distance Award.

  • The Business Times: Budding Artists Fund
  • NUHS Fund Limited
  • Dyslexia Association of Singapore

Companies can choose which of the 4 charities they want to support simply by indicating their choices on the back of their cheque. If no preference is indicated, the donation will be distributed equally among the 4 chosen charities.

Donations are tax-deductible. Receipts will be issued to companies from the respective charities, based on the amount donated.

Corporate registration process

After reserving the places for your colleagues, they need to register online from 18 April 2016 to confirm their place.

Then make a cheque payment

After payment, you will receive codes to share with employees

Employees will register online with assigned codes

And receive an email confirmation

Finally, they will collect the event pack with the confirmation email

Getting to Singapore Sports Hub

By Public Transport

MRT – VIA THE CIRCLE LINE:

  1. Stadium MRT Station (CC6) is the nearest station which exits directly into the Singapore Sports Hub
  2. Mountbatten MRT Station (CC7) is approximately 600m walking distance from Singapore Sports Hub. This also serves as an alternative station via Circle Line for leaving the venue.

 

BUS – VIA BUS SERVICE 11

  1. Alight along Stadium Crescent (Bus Stop No. 80199), which is directly outside Singapore Indoor Stadium.

While there will be security personnel at the bike park, you are encouraged to secure your bicycle with your own lock. Storage of your bicycle is at your own risk and the Event Organiser and Event Owner will not be liable for any loss or damage to your bicycle.

Workshops & activities

Open to OCBC Cycle participants only

We have lined up a slew of activities leading up to the event to fuel your passion for cycling. For a nominal sign-up fee of S$6 per activity, you will not only be having a good time but will also be helping our chosen charities as the fee will be donated to them.

Teach a child to cycle

Join our Teach-A-Child-To-Cycle programme as a volunteer to help children from our selected charity organisations learn cycling as a life skill. (You must be a participant of OCBC Cycle 2016 to volunteer.

Make a donation

You can making a donation at the Simply Giving website. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of the beneficiaries from our selected charities.

Participate in a charity ride

Take part in The Business Times Cycle of Hope Corporate Bike Ride and your company would be doing its part for charity – more than half of the registration fees will be donated to OCBC Cycle’s selected charity partners.

Guess & Win donation drive

Orchard Gateway (15 – 24 April 2016 & 25 June – 3 July 2016)

Make a contribution of S$10 to take part in our “Guess the Number of Plush Toys in the Volvo V40 Cross Country” donation drive. Donations collected will go to The Business Times Budding Artists Fund and Dyslexia Association of Singapore respectively

With each donation, you will receive a bottle of New Moon collagen drink worth S$6.90. The three donors with the closest guesses at each location will win New Moon products worth up to S$1,270.
